The purpose of this letter is to provide my recommendation of Scott and Sherry Walter based on my experiences with them as the selling agents involved in the sale of my home in Woodland Hills.
When I first met Scott and Sherry I mentioned to them that I would be a difficult customer to please. Over a twelve year period I had poured into my home both financially and emotionally and it was important to me that the sale of my home was handled in such a way as to allow me to recapture some of the value that was added to the home. This was going to be a particularly difficult challenge given the reality of a down real estate market. Additionally, I was looking for a selling agent who would work very hard to find a qualified buyer within a very short period of time given that I had other business matters out of state that I needed to attend to.
Right from the very beginning it was clear that Scott and Sherry were not only easy to work with, however they were also quite diligent in getting our home sold. After our first meeting there was no lapse in effort or time as marketing materials were well put together and circulated in a timely manner and our home was listed within one day of the meeting. Then, we were so pleased to have over 20 buyer visits to our home in the very first week (even before the first open house) and I can only imagine that this result is a testimony to the network of contacts that the Walters have generated in the area and the effectiveness of their marketing efforts.
The Walters were able to deliver on my request to quickly find a buyer as by the end of the first week on the market we had offers at and above our asking price. Further, as we then proceeded thru the negotiation process I was never worried that something was not being handled correctly. Scott Walter remained in good contact with me throughout the process and he helped guide me in my own decision making process so that we could effectively come to an amiable agreement with the buyers that produced a win-win situation for all parties.
I anticipate that given their solid work ethic, well developed client and contact base, kind demeanor, and competence as real estate agents that Scott and Sherry Walter will meet and or exceed your expectations as well.
